The companies danced their hearts out.  We had a lot of very talented competition and our AEDC girls proved they can hold their own.  I am so proud of each dancer for their personal growth this year, and how they always come together to support each other as teammates. Congrats to Lauren C. and Cassidy N. our Dancer of the Year finalists, and to Briana B. winner of "Outstanding Senior Dancer". I would also like to congratulate our Ballet instructor Madison Allen on winning a choreography award for "She's A Pirate".

Ticket Sales for the Spring Performance - Saturday, May 5th - 12:30pm at AEDC

Tickets go on sale for the Artistic Edge Dance Center spring performance "Baby I'm A Star" beginning Saturday, May 5th at 12:30pm.  Tickets will remain on sale during regular studio hours until Saturday, May 26th.  Tickets are available ONLY at ARTISTIC EDGE DANCE CENTER.

Every family will receive 4 tickets with their recital participation fee.  Additional tickets are $5.00 each.  Cash or check only please. 

November Tuition and Spring Performance Participation fee are due

Just a friendly reminder.  We will begin measuring the children for costumes this week.  Though participation in the Spring Performance is not required, dance is a performance art form, and the Spring Performance is a wonderful and exciting opportunity for your children to showcase all they have learned during the year. 

If you choose not to participate in the Spring Performance, please sign and return the paperwork, so we can notate your decision on your account.  Your child is still encouraged to come to class and learn the choreography, as that is also an important part of a dance education.

I would like to thank all the dancers and their families for a wonderful show Saturday night at the Gunter Theater.  The dancers all worked amazingly hard to put on a fantastic show, and the friends and family who came to show their support were enthusiatic and energetic.


I would like to give a special thanks all the backstage moms who cared for all the children; easing nerves and getting them pumped to perform, as well as the backstage workers and helpers who helped make this a well organized seemless event.  I couldn't have done it alone, it took a village to make it look good and I appreciate everyones efforts.

Thank you to everyone for making this first year special and wonderful.  I look forward to all the years to come with my Artistic Edge family
